Nakagawa is a relatively young blacksmith working out of Sakai. He has grown in popularity among cooks and collectors alike, and for good reason, he is an incredibly talented and versatile smith showing consistent results.
At the age of eighteen, Nakagawa began apprenticing under Kenichi Shiraki. During his sixteen-year apprenticeship he built a solid foundation of skills that have brought him to the forefront of the trade. When his master retired, he took over and rebranded as Nakagawa Uchihamono in 2021 and began crafting knives under his own name.
