Collection: Myojin Riki Seisakusho SG2
After spending 10+ years a knife sharpener, Naohito Myojin has recently ventured into blacksmithing as well. His popularity grew as he become famous for his work with the Konsuke brand, finishing knives to near perfection. His attention to detail is unwavering and the knives he crafts cut through food like butter.
For this line of knives Naohito Myojin utilizes SG2 powder steel for the cutting edge. We are huge fans of this type of steel for it’s easy sharpening and rust resistant properties. We highly recommend SG2 to people looking for high performance with out the care involved of a carbon steel blade.
Myojin san has given these knives a beautiful kasumi finish and has polished the spine and choil meticulously, demonstrating the skills that have made him so popular.
This knife has been fitted with a custom handle from Josh @letshandlethis in the UK. It is made with Scottish Elm Burl And Malachite and is a one of a kind beauty, taking this knife over the top with beauty and function combined.
