Yoshihiro Yauji
Yoshihiro Yauji is a talented young blacksmith working out of Takefu Knife Village in Echizen, Japan. Echizen is located in Fukui prefecture, and has been a hub for sword and tool making for centuries.

After spending many years working under master blacksmith Hideo Kitaoka, Yauji-san's skills are refined and his blades have beautiful fit and finish. His work with Aogami #2 steel is top of the class which shows in the ease of sharpening and ductility of these knives. His damascus cladding is very striking, and coupled with a western Ironwood handle, these knives will leave you drooling.

This line of knives are single bevel, and clad with soft iron. Please wipe this knife dry immediately after use, and only sharpen this knife with high quality water stones.
