Tadafusa Hocho Kobo

Tadafusa Hocho Kobo

Modern styling born from tradition. Tadafusa knives are located in Sanjo, Japan. Sanjo is located in the Niigata prefecture, and is known as "a town of blacksmiths". This knife making mecca is recognized worldwide for producing some of the best cutlery in the money can buy.
.
All of the Hocho Kobo series are made with a hard stainless steel known as SLD. Designed by the Hitachi company, SLD has a very high carbon content giving it excellent edge retention, and ease of sharpening. There is also just enough chromium to keep it stain resistant, and easy to maintain.
.
I have a feeling these knives will be very popular at the shop due to fact they make a perfect gift for the foodie. Super simple and beautiful design, very sharp, and easy to maintain, what more can you ask for.
All of these knives are center balanced for a familiar cutting feel, and fixed with a natural chestnut wood handle.
