Sakai Takayuki

Sakai Takayuki is one of the largest and most respected knife companies in Japan. Located in the heart of the knife making mecca Sakai, they produce everything from affordable knives for home cooks, too highly sought after honyaki blades. We are very pleased to have been able to tour their forge, Aoki Hamono, and get a first hand look at knife making, knife sharpening, and final inspections.
